LAIBACH – Alamut (2cd) 22,95

De Sloveense band Laibach is sinds de oprichting, in juni 1980, vaak hard en controversieel geweest. Gedurende hun bestaan verschenen ook afwijkende albums, vol met covers.
Nu, 45 jaar na de oprichting, is er het dubbelalbum Alamut. Tekstueel gebaseerd op de Sloveense roman uit 1938, bestaat de muziek uit ontregelende klanken, zoals we dat van de oude Laibach gewend zijn. Uitgevoerd door een Sloveens orkest, met een Iraanse dirigent, een eveneens Iraans koor en Laibach zelf.
Ga even goed zitten voor dit album en niet de afwas erbij doen. Een zeldzaam meesterwerk dat volop de aandacht verdient.
