BIOSPHERE – The Way of Time (lp/cd) 37,95/24,95

De studio van Geir Jenssen, ook wel bekend als Biosphere, staat weliswaar in het arctische plaatsje Tromsø in Noorwegen, de klanken op zijn nieuwe album zijn verre van ijzig te noemen. Speelse melodieën, gedragen door een ritmebox, leggen de bodem voor de gesproken teksten uit de roman The Time Of Man uit 1926. Van dit boek werd in 1951 een hoorspel gemaakt, ingesproken door Joan Lorring. Haar stem is gebruikt door Biosphere en het resultaat is ronduit prachtig.
The Way Of Time mag zich direct rekenen tot het beste werk van Biosphere. Niet ijzig, wel kippenvel…
