Vanaf zaterdag 3 juni gaat Platenhuis ’t Oor om 10:00 uur open op de zaterdagen, in plaats van 9:30 uur.

TIP VAN GERARD

ARLO PARKS – My Soft Machine (lp/cd) 29,95/18,95

Met haar debut ‘Çollapsed in Sunbeams’ in 2021 maakte Arlo Parks diepe indruk.
Twee jaar later verschijnt ‘My Soft Machine’ van de inmiddels 22 jarige in Londen geboren vrouw met Nigeriaanse roots.
Ze zingt over relaties, onzekerheden en pijn. Qua stijl is het diverser dan haar eerste album, maar ze blijft toch erg bij zichzelf.
Misschien iets minder opvallend of indrukwekkend dan het debuut, maar er blijft genoeg moois over om te spreken van een waardige opvolger!
