Vrijdag 20 oktober komt het nieuwe album van de Rolling Stones!
Omdat het The Stones zijn zullen we donderdagavond 19 oktober van 23.00 tot 01.00 uur open zijn. Vanaf 23.00 is het nieuwe werk te horen in de winkel en vanaf 24.00 uur wordt het verkocht.

Natuurlijk zal het album in ruime aantallen, zowel op lp als op cd, aanwezig zijn.

PRETENDERS – Relentless (lp/cd) 34,95/18,95

Nadat Jorn Hulsman vorige week op lafhartige wijze aan de haal ging met mijn beoogde tip (Buddy & Julie Miller) schakelde ik fluks door naar het nieuwe 12e album van een oude favoriet en wel Relentless van The Pretenders.
Als fan van het 1e uur verbaast het me niet dat Chrissie Hynde als enig overgebleven oer-pretender, na het terugtreden vanwege lichamelijk ongemak van drummer van het eerste uur Martin Chambers, het rock & roll-hart nog steeds op de juiste plek draagt.
Gelukkig niets nieuws onder de zon, 12 puike nieuwe songs en de zang van Chrissie Hynde die blijft natuurlijk fantastisch!
